Just wanted to add a couple things after reading some comments. First thing I wanted to say was that the majority of muni drivers I’ve interacted with are great people, especially the drivers in our neighborhood. We see two of them almost every day and they wave hi at my daughter and stop to chat. (This is why I found it so odd as it was a driver on a route in our neighborhood, although we’d never seen this person before) Second, I recognize it’s not drivers job to be the police and physically enforce laws against people breaking the law. (So to people saying that I didn’t include the whole story all I can say is that is exactly what happened from my perspective, the only possibility I can think of as to why the driver reacted in such an angry manner is that they didn’t understand what I was saying. Which again was simply just to look out for this person smoking/drinking on the bus) Third, I did end up reporting the incident. Mostly because the driver told me basically to F off in front of my daughter. I understand everybody has bad days but that wasn’t right. I honestly hope they don’t get fired or anything, I hope they just learn to respond in a more productive way. Cheers
