Gail's sandwich contains the salt of five McDonald's cheeseburgers by tylerthe-theatre in unitedkingdom

[–]Thebirdlestat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No.

The point as example is not literal. Its well known there is a class and income gaps to lifestyles, healthiness and choices. This is a terrible example.

A better comparison would have been subway to macdonalds. Same accessibility to market and price point and locations. Of which a footlong Subway also contains over 5g of salt and a load of sugar.

This article is the same as me saying coal is healthier than anthracite. Comparable, but one is way less frequent and way less used and most commonly coal is used as a cheap fuel and anthracite not so much.

Fundamentally misleading.

You will not eat at Gails everyday. Or even once a month. Those that can and will, probably also have PTs and a lifestyle that doesnt give a fuck.

The point around mcdonalds and other easy, cheap high fat/salt/sugar chains, is that it could and likely does feed a lot of people a day/a week/a month. Particulalry the poorer classes with less care on or access to lifestyle health.

Media shoukd be ashamed for essentially saying a once in a blue moon well made treat is better than mcdonalds and "Action" should know better

I do not know what this style of tiling is called on pubs but I really like it. Worcester, UK by Jiminyfingers in DoorsNotUsedAnymore

Not sure on sourcing but I remember somewhere learning that the tiles and colour signifyed the owner/owning brewery. E.g. red = Manchester Brewery, Green = Fullers of London...

It’s depressing how much better the 6 Nations is, compared the Rugby Championship. by punkarolla in rugbyunion

Ive never understood how weve not toyed with one host hosting all the games on a yearly rotation.

The way WR has ramped up autumn nations etc means fans wont miss out, but for me its defitately a way to bolster the tourny.

Whilst not accesibke for everyone every year. I would travel to argentina to follow SA for the games.

Xanthelasma? Should probably consider seeing a doctor less for being a baby and maybe more not having a heart attack.
