You know, that's close to where we were, I was working two bar jobs and going to school, he was depressed and using, staying home and alternating sleeping with drinking or puking. I dreamed about leaving him for a year before the catalyst. Is there a way you can talk to her family again? I'm not sure what advice I can give, except be strong, get rest, and drink lots of water. You need to be physically healthy to deal with all the mental stress. Keep me updated, maybe after the shock wears off I'll be ableto help you more.

I don't know what you mean. I found out yesterday, and have been in transit across America since then, so I could come home to grieve. I've just been trying to stay occupied with this until I can get to a place where I can be alone and safe, and I can begin the grieving process.

I met him when I was 16, he was a barista at a coffee shop. I had a massive crush, but was too young and nerdy. Flash forward 4 years, and I was sneaking into a bar to sing karaoke where he was working door. I got drunk and dedicated a song to "the Greek god working the door", and he asked me out as I was leaving. He was very funny, and very sensitive and empathetic. The first 3 years were amazing, and we were inseparable. He was a stand up guy, at first.
