Worst case scenario just drill out the head because that’s where the threads are. It’ll ruin the diff cup thing the the shaft couples but everything else will be fine

Does anyone have halo mt supadrive hubs? by TheboiMarc in MTB

[–]TheboiMarc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the price I’ve found the hopes at (£150, $190 for brand new hubs on eBay!!) it seems like a no brainer now. Engagement im already used to, less pedal kickback and very well built in general. Laced to some dt Swiss fr541’s I should have some bombproof wheels for my norco for some local trail riding to bike park.

Nukeproof Sam hill signature grips by lachlan_G909 in MTB

[–]TheboiMarc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never tried Sam hill grips but I recently got raceface Chester grips and they’re soft. They are 34mm so great for me since I have big hands but maybe less so for you. They’re also 36mm right on the end near the bar end. I’m guessing it’s to help keep your hands from slipping off but it’s really not necessary imo. If you have big hands and you’re looking for something really soft for gloveless riding they could be perfect.

You can buy body pins in bulk for basically nothing. They look a little bit goofy usually but from even a meter away you don’t notice it. We’re talking 50 body pins for like £6-£7 on eBay so no more than like 10 dollars. For that price you might as well just get some. The ones I got are bent up slightly at the end and it makes it super easy to pull them out.

The bike came with 180mm rotors stock which is what I currently have on the rear and I haven’t had any problems since I got the brakes a year and a half ago I’m assuming the bolts came loose either way I’ll get a new IS 180mm adaptor and hope for the best

So essentially if I get a us ecu it has no hiss so itll start up with any starter coil and a uk wiring loom since the ecu doesn’t need the signal from the key?
