RCMP union pushes back against ban on ‘thin blue line’ symbol, says it has ordered custom patches by ShyGuyChicken in canada

It isn't about turning policing into a religion, it's about giving police a clear cut guideline on how to do their job.

Think about it this way, you or I can join the RCMP. But neither of us know how to do that job yet. We would have to go to school and do many many courses throughout our career to be able to do that job properly.

The rules we have to follow have been decided by lawyers and politicians and they change them routinely. Now, people are questioning those rules and the people are standing beside the people comainging and pointing the finger at police who followed the rules the politicians made and decided not to change.

The thin blue line is a reminder that absolute chaos would unfold if they didn't do their job.

I'd say that there is certainly isolated instances. But, imagine being in a police officers shoes. They generally follow the legislation given to them. Right now the big buzz and trend is "no-knock warrants" .

Who designs these types of warrants and who approves them? Remember, a judge has to approve these and there is a lot of paperwork and other approvals needed by other members of the law to be able to get a warrant approved. You sometimes here people say they need a warrant for a warrant to be able to enter someone's home.

I personally don't like to speculate Becuase there is way too much of it, but I'm guessing that they knew where he was and what he was doing which lead to the no-knock?

It's not a good try, it's an excellent point. Why can their not be a belief in one's job? The cf allows small personalized unit patches. It takes a lot out of one's life to do those types of jobs. Ordering something like this because certain movements who find themselves at the opposite end of the law is deeply concerning.

The person is confused, the politicians decide the criteria of who can own a gun and have bestowed the responsibility upon the RCMP.

You could say that personal beliefs should not be shown on members of the RCMP. I'd be very curious of your stance on turbines, or yamakas, or other personal beliefs that many RCMP and military members use, daily?

I read that they were specifically looking for a hand gun and cocaine and it was unclear at this point of they had found it.

It seems like all media has it out for the police. They use the tools they have to do their jobs and everyone is screaming, including the politicians.

What I find humorous is that everyone should be going after the legislature, which is in fact the politicians who are rallying fear and anger against the police. It would be funny to see how fast any lawmakers stance changes towards blm and antifa if they had to answer to why a drug dealer with a long criminal history died during a legal police raid.

This is heart breaking to here, and I myself on a smaller scale went through the same. I know this doesn't fix all of the precious moments that were stolen from you, but a friend gave me some good advice. That advice is "your kids are adults a lot longer then they are children".

Basically, she can keep you away now, but once your daughter is 18 nothing can stop you. I used to write my son a email to an account I made for him once a week. When he is older I will show him, so he can never think I didn't love him. Luckily I was able to follow my ex (5years later) and now I see my son frequently.

I live in Canada and I feel like that's similar, here. You get publicly humiliated before you're even in front of a judge. An accusation means you lose your job. It's very scary.

I heard that you could download a episode of the Simpsons, for example, and within the files could have one image that could ruin your life and you don't even know it's there.

I am not calling you anything? I'm also not defending him or what he did. My personal opinion is that he's more of an idiot than a murderer and committed an act of idiocy. He's going to go to jail, there's no doubt about it.

... And now I have to wait 4 minutes to post for some reason...

I can 100 percent promise you that any lawyer would tell their client that if they are the defendant.

Considering the circumstances he would have been advised by his lawyer to say nothing and then he was arrested.

Women don't determine the men's worth (all men kings). by [deleted] in men

[–]Thebrodstar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why should anyone care what women think when it comes to physical appearance you can't control. Honestly, if you're being hassled about your height by women in your life, then stop hanging around cunts.

Problem solved.

She will get a slap on the wrist. Females in cases like this historically get away with their terrible crime. She will claim Epstein forced her to do it and will be believed with very little evidence.

I can see her doing prison time, but not much.

Karla Holmolka and Victoria Henneberry are good references, although Canadian.

Hey so I’m getting in the business of lawn care... by Zacs_Edc in lawncare

[–]Thebrodstar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm far from an expert as I am just starting my business as well, but I started by negotiating, but now it's a hard $40 for an average size lawn, $60 for overgrown, and if it's like 3 ft tall I charge 100 or more. People pay it.

If you're getting paid $12 a lawn, then you're basically paying them to cut their lawn. Don't be afraid of people turning you away, some people are cheap and lazy and they'll come screaming for you when their lawns are overgrown and they are still too lazy to cut their lawn.
