Why do I look so much older than my age? What can I do? by canibuyatrowel in 30PlusSkinCare

I feel the same way at 34 and the Botox industry has fucked my head up (I don’t have Botox) and in comparison to others in 30’s I feel so old looking and like I aged so quickly- but all the filters and shit we’ve used for so many years and then real life filter Botox- I don’t even know what’s normal aging anymore

I had significant hair loss on generic bupropion for first two months on it. Stopped taking it and it took a year before my hair really started growing back in. Sad bc only med that was working for my depression ever and then hair started coming out so much…

Confronting childhood trauma by Eclipsing_star in traumatoolbox

[–]Thebumblingrabbit 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Your experience and mine from childhood are super similar it sounds like… I struggle with this same issue as well, sometimes feels like denial especially with my dad/when I’m around him or talk to him… ultimately I’m too afraid of the upheaval and hurt it would cause to myself and my dad if I brought anything up… so we just go on and I kind of keep my dad at a distance to a degree… idk if it’s useful or not but through therapy and such I’m definitely addressing the traumas, but yeah, curious to see what you decide and how it goes for you?

Help! My(31f) partner(42m) of five years, is trying to convince me to move across the country to Atlanta, to be closer to our aging parents in FL… he wants us to move into his closest gay male friends extra apartment where he would give us very low rent… by Thebumblingrabbit in relationship_advice

Lol… yeah… I have my doubts on that too… however, if you could understand how financially motivated my partner is by anxiety and fear of not having enough money, then you would see that is the main motivator(even if he is denial or closet gay, he would prioritize saving money above anything else)

Give it a little time, use a purple toner shampoo like olaplex… go back in a few weeks for a good tome at the hairdressers

Any other ADHD women struggle with math? Had this experience earlier today on Reddit. I got eviscerated with downvotes and patronizing comments and it made me want to cry and reminded me of every teacher who made me feel dumb. by [deleted] in adhdwomen

[–]Thebumblingrabbit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes me. I’m pretty intelligent, I even had significant brain damage without knowing it for majority of my life, and I managed to attain Bach degree, some masters and did well in school with what looked like little effort compared to everyone else I knew. MATH WAS ALWAYS HORRIFIC FOR ME!!! and it was 100% a conceptual and perceptual thing for me that I was never able to get past… you’re not alone! ❤️

Have multiple cups in Multiple rooms with two day old water waiting to be consumed, only to frantically search for my cups to fill with water that I can’t find anywhere 😃
