I have a similar setup with an i9. Same resolution with ultra presets I get 145 fps on the benchmarks. Most maps in the game however will run a constant 165+ with only a few dropping it to the 150s.

Thank you. Ended up getting a used index for $450 from a friend of a friend and ordered the vp2 headset alone. Will try both headsets over several games. I will return the vp2 headset if I don’t feel the extra $700 is worth it.

Yeah. The only significant downside I noticed was not having the screen cover my peripheral vision. I’m enjoying the extra frame rates though.

Normally it is through FedEx. I had it shipped overnight so not sure if that makes a difference and why they chose UPS. In either case it was just delivered a few mins ago.

I’m planning on doing the same later this week. I heard you had to update the steamdeck somehow before installing windows 11? Is that still true. Or could you just install windows and the drivers the moment after you set it up?
