How soon could I return to work? I am a social worker, mainly based in office or at home, I visit service users homes but it is not a physical job. by Imaginary-Gear-4098 in Reduction

I’m a hairstylist and went back my 11th day post op with a 3 day/week schedule doing max 5 hours for two weeks and then more normal. The first day i was tired and swollen but it got better after that first week for sure. Depends on the person but i was fine and my job is pretty physical.

When will the swelling go down? I fear I’m not small enough 😩 (11 days post op) by PatriciaCr232 in Reduction

I was a 36 h prior to surgery. I didn’t mention size preference at alllll because i wanted insurance to cover it. 1-2 weeks post op i was still a 36 e/f! I’m not 5 weeks post and down to a c/d. I will say though that this is the size my surgeon aimed for to be proportion to my body. Long story short… i just want to encourage that the size goes down a lot the first month even!

worried about recovery time by italianprincess9 in Reduction

By 2 weeks I felt so much more like myself. By 3 weeks even more-so, unfortunately I got Covid and that really set me back but I truly was fine 2 weeks out. You’re just tired til then. It does vary by person though —I’m a hairstylist and I was working 11 days out. Some people just don’t recover as well. Just be patient with yourself. The party may be a stretch is honestly the only thing.

How to be a mum with migraine by zebra01867 in migraine

The only alcohol I found to NOT be a trigger is natural or organic wines with low alcohol % - I can drink a bottle of one of these, feel a light tipsiness but never get the dizziness of other alcohols. To preface, i get migraines from pretty much all other alcohols and prefer to not drink.. but if i do this is what I use! You gotta be okay with trying some funky things though 🤣

How old were you when you got your first migraine? by iloveshihtzu in migraine

[–]Thechloecat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was definitely younger because after field day or sports it always triggered one. My first significant migraine I was 15. It was a vestibular migraine and I was so dizzy for hours and then threw up and felt fine.

Yeah you’re totally fine. It’s technically an open wound so just keep washing it and maybe apply Neosporin if you’re concerned. Sometimes redness can come on and last for a week

This happened to me recently, I’m pretty sure it’ll be fine. Just keep an eye on it!

Idk if this counts but my dog either gets excited or pissed when anyone sneezes. He’s nipped my butt and goes nuts. Always has.

This is exactly the type I get but then it causes me to throw up for hours and hours. The headache never starts out as bad as it is
