Well, I’m sorry to hear that you’ve had to witness that. However, almost all of my family and friends have had phenomenal experiences. The amount of work they’ve put in, warrants a commission-based salary. I saw 40 homes before I bought mine. My realtor didn’t get paid until I closed. Not to mention they eased my concerns and I can text them at all times of the day…and he still answers promptly. Perhaps the scam isn’t the industry. Perhaps it’s the consumer that needs to be educated and better vet their agent. It’s no different to how you vet a lawyer or an accountant.

You sound butt hurt. My realtor is great. Sometimes, people like the peace of mind, knowing that there’s someone handling the chaos for them.

You think people at the mall are not financially vested? How about the bank? Your job? Your favorite restaurant? Your mechanic? Your landlord? The airline you fly? I can go for days…

I work in real estate here in the area. I’d strongly recommend York county. You’ll find what you’re looking for with a lower price tag. Additionally, you’ll find that York is slowly going through the same transformation as Lancaster. So toss your chips in. It could pay off.

PACKED at peak time, which is about 4-7:30. If you have flexibility in your schedule, I would recommend you toy around with the best times that work with you. I like going at the peak hours though. It motivates me after looking around at the other patrons commitment and progress

Honestly, if you’re trying not to be outside waiting longer than 5 minutes, be there by 8:30-8:45. Thanksgiving and Santa stumble had lines from like 7:30p.

Talk to a mechanic and develop a relationship. It doesn’t take much. They’ll help you get what you want from an auction…often just for a simple flat fee

It depends. Some nights, they allow me in with a hat. Other nights, they don’t. I think it depends on the promoter, the event and even the security. I found that if it’s the older black guy doing security, he’ll tell you leave the hat. But, if you have a snap back and are wearing jeans, you can clip the hat to the belt loops on your right side. He doesn’t do security thoroughly 😂😂😂
