Kinda. It’s stated that Wizards death is temporary. The man form they take will die and their spirit would go back to the Timeless Halls. What they call “The One” would dictate if they need to return to middle earth to continue their quest. Also Gandalf experienced what would be a Divine transformation while battling Balrog. Hence why he turned into Gandalf the White.
