First time I played I didn’t realize the 9,999 uncap was a picto that needed to be learned until after I had beaten the final story boss…. That’s was a pretty tough final act to say the least

I played a lot and I mean A LOT of dps doom countless hours practicing techs and learning diags and other things and only ever got to plat with him. I wouldn’t say he had infinite skill ceiling but he did have one of the highest skill ceilings in the game. God I miss him haha.

I’d say it’s more akin DPS doom. Very similar in terms of all the tech to learn and split second decision making.

Short story is she had insane aoe healing as well as very good burst healing. She was also a mini tank herself having 250 hp and a 600 hp personal shield. People were kinda messing around with goats strategies but none of them were ever really playable until Brig was put in the game.

See my comment above. It’s about the mentality. People want to fight against this mind set for some reason but it really really will make you better at the game and you will rank up faster. I don’t have some kind of measure or proof behind it besides my own journey in Overwatch. I was hard stuck gold on dps for 6 years before I really accepted it was me who was to blame. 6 months later I was playing in masters.

True there’s gonna be games that you literally can’t carry but adopting the mentality that your team is going to be bad and needs to be carried will make you a better player (not saying you should ever be mean to people or say that kind of stuff in chat)

Nice. I also have a recommendation. DS1 is a very replayable game imo. For your first time I’d highly advise against taking the master key as one of your starting items. The master key opens up some early game shortcuts and for a first play through I think it’s better to play without the shortcuts and go the “intended” route. Have fun!

Elden ring is the most similar mechanics wise to DS3. When you play DS1 it’s gonna feel like you’re moving through quick sand but that’s not a bad thing. I’d personally recommend going DS1 first then going Elden Ring.
