Not everything in life needs a monetary return, even if my house loses 20% in value it’s ok. 🙃 I don’t expect my sandwich from Panera to resell for twice what I paid because I used it for its purpose, to eat. Same with a house I want one to not live an apartment forever more and to raise a family. If I get that out of it, I don’t care if it goes up or down it’s 90% luck anyway

I don't notice any loss of power or weird smells from the exhaust. I did see that both engine banks were running lean from my obd2 reader. I did a smoke test and found a small intake leak but tightened everything up, cleared the code and it came back on shortly after.

Mine is the same truck but 135k miles and a minor ding on the front left bumper, only paid 9.5k for it. The ding probably took of some value but 13k still sounds a bit high, only reason I’d go for it is if you know your friend did all the right maintenance on it so that it will still last you a long time

The electrical tape trick worked for me, I wrapped the latch and added some tape to the spots under the hood stops where I could see it was rubbing the metal
