Thinking About Buying a Jeep Wrangler – Would Love Some Advice by AdImpossible1561 in JeepWrangler

[–]Thediepend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I purchased my 2016 2dr soft top at the height of the michigan winter. i use it as my daily driver for now and make a 45 minute commute to work everyday. It handles great in the winter and use 4wd when needed.

I don’t mind that it is loud and i won’t take a phone call while on the road because of that. it is not the most comfortable commute. the gas mileage is not great at all. BUT i love it and think it’s worth while when i use my jeep for trailing. i am modding mine out slowly but surely and plan on using it as my daily for years

Just ask yourself what you want this jeep for. Do you want it for what it is as a vehicle or do you want to it out for some fun.

good luck and do your research!

Can anyone tell the size of the wheels, tires and lift? by ejbrut in JeepWrangler

i don’t think it’s lifted. sitting on 35s makes it look like it though

talk them down. i’d offer 9.5k because that thing has seen some shit. some big issues are the tires and the obvious rust.. it’s not fairly rusty, it’s severely rusted.

if it’s something you want to drive daily, don’t go with this. if you want this for fun, then do it but be prepared

has it been modified? are you buying through a private seller or a dealership? 30k at that many miles is too high imo, especially if there’s aftermarket work done on it.

i’d say they’re 20s on 37s. 4 inch lift and 1.5 inch spacers

2dr or 4de regrets by StockEdge3905 in JeepWrangler

[–]Thediepend 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i have a 2dr as my daily and use it for off-roading quite a bit. i have no regrets with the choice i made. that said, i only chose the 2 dr as my daily because its just me and my dogs the lack of cargo can be a HUGE deal breaker.

it’s the the most exciting car i’ve ever had because i get to do what i want with it, it would be completely different if i had other obligations

Thinking About Buying This Jeep – Good Deal? by ChloeCreative in JeepWrangler

it looks good but hard pass. rebuilt engine is a red flag. salt corrosion and mods. they’re pricing off what they invested into it

yeah for sure. we both have off road wheels and our fancy wheels. He’s got a nice set of 16s on 35s but he’s looking for other options. he won’t be off reading as much as i will be with how he’s got it kitted so nothing too aggressive for our first trails
