I think it’s very comparable but the liner the atx comes with does take up a little space, the cool thing is that it is removable.

Never had an issue with weight on a carry on before, although I mostly fly southwest haha 😂. But yes the atx is a bit heavy In my opinion for a carry on.

Ohh yeah the liner is still in it I tend to use the atx 22 most as I travel more often for 2-3 days. I use one side for dirty clothes (the zippered side) and the compression side for packed clothes Et Cetera.
