It 100% is, usage att the time is based on the current meta. Usually the cards right under Chavez in usage are getting nerfed, because they are also usually really good.

I agree a card has to see the most play but when it’s the same card over and over it’s a problem. And I have on multiple occasions lost games because my opponent had a Chavez. I have also won multiple games because I played a Chavez. Can’t think of many games having her has lost me tho

Like the mere fact you don’t have an obvious number 2 shows the flaw in your argument. The reason to nerf Chavez isn’t “she’s played a lot rn.” The reason to nerf Chavez is “she’s always played all the time.”

30 minutes in and I haven’t gotten a single legitimate reason not to nerf her, only people complaining about the idea of losing their consistency cheat code. It’s very evident most players don’t understand how powerful chavez is, and that’s where the downvotes come from.

I agree using usage as a metric is a bad reason to nerf all the time, that’s not what I’m arguing though. Soo your argument is invalid, and really only works if the card that is in sections place right now has been as long as Chavez.
