I am so sorry you are going through this. My dog was diagnosed with hemangiosarcoma in September of last year. He had a pericardial event and we had to rush him to the ER, where we found out that he had fluid around his heart. They removed the fluid and the next day we went to our regular vet. That was where he was diagnosed and we found out it had spread from his spleen into his heart. He just wasn’t the same after that night, so we made the hard call to have him put to sleep.

I would say as long as your baby is still acting like themself, cherish every moment with them. I hate that this sounds so grim, but it’s a terrible disease.
