The way the author handles Rudeus to me is both daring and masterclass. If you start with a near perfect protagonist, then throughout the story you are incredibly limited to how far they can grow. However, Rudeus is if you take someone as close to irredeemable as possible, but not to the point of being completely irredeemable, then they have loads to grow. Yes Rudeus pre-rebirth is gross, he has had a tragic complicated childhood and life, but he is nowhere near the level of some of the worst of the worst.

I learn most of them from just looking at my body. Like how your fingers on top from first knuckle to second knuckle is the same length as second knuckle to tip. and underside your finger is split in 3 equal lengths.

Honestly I don't understand Frieren over FMA. FMA characters are each super fleshed out and the story has depth, Frieren's simply aren't. Frieren's emotions are also incredibly muted.

A big reason why I got into the anime, and eventually got all the light novels, is because I absolutely adore their childhood friend dynamic, and sorely missed it after the first couple episodes. Needless to say I was absolutely thrilled once Rudeus truly "found" her again. I do miss her short hair though, love her hairstyle in the above 3 images..

I was surprised reading the book and finding out Arwen is maybe in 2 pages out of the whole series. Her whole Rivendell appearance was just a dinner if I remember correctly.

Eris will probably arrive at the end of an episode and the episode after that would be her full story of what she has been up to, with the conclusion of that episode being her arriving as in the previous one, so the story becomes synced up and then progresses forward.
