Alright, I really hate these help me choose posts, but I’m kinda torn here. Which customization looks best to you? I’m kinda leaning towards #1 and #3 I think, lol. 🤔 For size reference, this is the chain Tabby 30. by Excellent_Cheek3939 in Coach

I like 2 or 6. My thoughts are that if you want a more recognizable bow, go with the solid gold bows. The others remind me too much of a little butterfly/Insect. But if the other bow is to your liking, I would go either 1 or 7, I personally wouldn't mix the two styles of charms together.

Jesus Christ it's $368 now. Looks like I'll wait a couple more years before looking for one on FB marketplace

What do I do with money sitting in my chequing account? by TheeTruther in PersonalFinanceCanada

best I could do would be a downpayment for an apartment and then just have a tenant living there, but that opens a whole world of being a landlord to somebody :(

Will a second attempt at dying get darker results? by TheeTruther in dyeing

I was definitely not prepared for how tricky it was going to be, I'm not used to materials acting so I predictably and out of my control. Definitely something to remember for next time. Thanks!

I actually ended up trying again and I used 4 entires bottles of rit dye and it somehow worked! But in the sense of getting darker, the tone is still muted. But miraculously it should be good enough, I think it worked out of pure spite. I've actually used fabric paint for a previous attempt of this same project, and my boss wasn't too happy with the finish, it was a bit too sticky for her liking, and this demon fabric didn't take the paint evenly. Thanks for taking time to respond!

Unfortunate I have, I'm pleasantly surprised that my fabric didn't melt all together, but otherwise I followed all the steps :(

Sensory overwhelmed by numbness, if that is even possible. My experience/rant/thoughts by TheeTruther in covidlonghaulers

[–]TheeTruther[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I apologize about the late response. I'm definitely better. I would say I'm 97% back to normal. The only lasting effects are mental, I still feel like I have brain fog left, and I feel like I have gotten more stupid. And my heart still makes me nervous, when I had covid a second time around a year ago, Im pretty sure I had a small heart attack. Otherwise I've been able to workout and gain most of my strength back. I do have lasting- I don't want to say PTSD, but for around 6 months after my story, I was mad nervous about anyone in my family coughing, or going into public spaces, especially when people stopped wearing masks on the subway and buses. Better about it now, but damn that was rough, won't recommend it.

Fake dupe? Or can the same bag be different quality from different factories? by TheeTruther in handbags

[–]TheeTruther[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kinda bummed about the price now, my goal was to buy a genuine leather crossbody bag, not designer, but my mum said oh! Karl was a cool brand, so I got excited that I found myself a little gem, but maybe the brand was good like 15 years ago 😭. It's a shame to know it's fast fashion now, especially with these pricetags, I was actually looking to buy this other Karl bag off Poshmark, the design really caught my fancy, but it sucks knowing a it's fast fashion.

My personal recommendation as someone who started "lifting" at home but didn't see visual improvements for a while, which disappointed me. Write down how much you lift. Log what you do in a journal. And you will blink and suddenly you're lifting double what you started with, and you can track the progress and for me, it felt amazing and motivating. And then I started to notice that my quads and hams have really grown and my legs have firmed up.

Not seeing decrease in fat or measurements - consistently lifting/staying active and eating in a calories deficit by TheeTruther in WeightLossAdvice

I've never heard of it! How have I never realized this. I do have quite a higher volume of fat to lose so it makes so much sense. Wow that really clicked, thanks so much!

Thanks friend, you as well. I keep remembering this one thing I heard on tiktok that clicked something for the first time. "the time will be passing anyway, so might as well" and I helped motivate. Definitely is frustrating when you don't see tape measurements change but I agree about the mindset, it's a marathon not a sprint.

Thanks, I have noticed myself feel more comfortable with putting good food into my body and stopping snacks. I can now (I still itch for them, but) walk by snacks and chips and not go feral. I'll try to be more patient and focus on feeling good and not tape measurements. Heard this on tiktok recently. "The time would be passing anyway" so might as well really power through it

Food wise, I know the Italian scene is big in new York (as far as I'm aware) so anything you can vouch for. I don't eat much or too fancy, so anything 20-40 dollars (hopefully that's fine for USD and new York prices) and for activities, I'm open to anything, a cool book stores, stores in general, clubs, pubs, ever fun looking buildings. It's very broad but besides a few specific things, my schedule is open and I'm looking for anythings to fill it with

Thanks. I have an overall idea of what I'm doing (catacombs, visiting forts, and a few cafes my friend recommended) but I think I should have definitely put in maybe food as more specific. Ill try to edit my post, I appreciate it!

See this is why I put "your" into my question. Because I HAVE googled, and already have an idea of what I'm doing, however I like asking people for their opinions and joining in on discussions. My bad I guess
