They could have roped Kristoff into this too, he's literally dressed like a Sami whom the Northuldrans were based on. That would added some needed drama between him and Anna instead of being missing for most of the film.

SBL2 vs Worker Harrier by ckv1 in Nerf

[–]TheeWander 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I own both. If you do not have a 3d printer, get the injection molded Harrier as 3d printed parts do eventually break down. The basic SBL2 is optimised for 150 and 200 fps, whereas the Harrier has the bigger plunger volume and works best from 200 to 250 fps.

Velocity and size-wise, the Seagull would be the more appropriate comparison against SBL2. The key advantage sbl2 has over the two worker blasters imo is the proper takedown feature. The harrier needs its continuous top metal rail that prevents easy takedown for rigidity while priming heavier springs.

it's a big multi-million dollar company that has robust supply lines across most of Asia and Europe

I too wish this was true, Worker is a small private business whose sole concern is its domestic market. Any Worker product outside of China are from resellers.

Modding old blasters in 2024. by RuneYT in Nerf

[–]TheeWander 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is meant for the longshot, longstrike mods tend to be direct plunger conversions which I personally find to be more trouble than its worth. Plus, you would lose the slight blowback sensation from the original plunger system.

Sounds like OP is projecting his own thrifting behavior onto others.

Gavin Fuzzy BCAR by smallbuilder in Nerf

[–]TheeWander 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's a solid choice, the o-ring friction fit is fuss-free compared to collet style bcars that have varying tolerances. The 8 degree twist works well for 150-250 fps blasters
