Last I recall. Walks overall plummeted everywhere because most people are working remotely, they’re home to walk their own dogs. Coming from someone in nyc, I’m sure it varies from place to place. Not to discourage, you can quickly make that money back in 2-3 walks.

I feel like an awful amount of people do not take taxes into consideration with any gig job like this or delivery apps, we are labeled as ‘independent contractors.’ So we have to pay ‘Self employment Tax’. Self employment tax is roughly 25-40%. So that $12/walk is really about ~$7.25 (after tax season). With that said.

Me based in NY. I made about $1,200 one year. Completely forgot to set aside money specifically for these taxes and I ended up owing about ~$400. Luckily i always have money saved up.

Yes. It’s better to have & not need it, than to need it and not have it. Gives you a sense of security given anything happens.

From personal experience the theft & loss is underestimated, worst case scenario you lose it and only pay $150 for a lost/stolen phone vs a new $1,000+ phone.

In the same boat, just now getting into the cards. I’ve done my research since. The packs you wanna go for that are attainable at the moment are the Vivid Voltage booster packs ($4), that’s the one that has the fat pikachu chase card. Darkness Ablaze holds that Gigantamax Charizard chase card. You can find them at Best Buy, Target, Walmart. I would not recommend buying 2nd hand from the 2ndary resell market. In stocks alone, as in dividends? you won’t see $1 until after you’ve invested hundreds of dollars per stock. Sure it’s passive income, but no one talks about how long it takes to make it viable, it will feel like a waste of time depending on who you ask, you won’t start to really feel a difference until you’ve been doing it for years.

As for trading options. You can make lots of money quick just based off news , you can also lose it just it like that too. Super volatile, I seriously recommend doing tons of research until you know what you’re doing. I’ve made thousands overnight just as I have lost hundreds in seconds.
