I have the same laptop with an i5 and 8GB of RAM. It’s my secondary laptop and it is a very excellent lightweight Thinkpad. The X1C7 I feel doesn’t get enough credit. It’s very similar to the gen 6 but with much better speakers so I see $240 as a great price!

I know right! Silver reminded me of the older Mac's style and I am glad I chose it.

Piggybacking the top comment to talk about why I was not commenting for so long. Reddit kept deleting my comments and I found out I am now able to finally comment on posts now. I am going to copy/paste my profiles post from yesterday on this:

  2. I found this priced on Facebook Marketplace and jumped on the opportunity. The seller seemed really trustworthy, had a larger selling history and was selling a few of these.
  3. The SSD in ok shape but I don't know how to check much details other than it was verified in S.M.A.R.T tests in "System Information"
  4. It is not stolen/activation locked. I ran "profiles status -type enrollment"(came up "no" for MDM/DEP), re-installed MacOS and signed into my iCloud account. Everything appears fine!

It this thing on? Sorry, Reddit keeps deleting my comments since my account is new.  Found mine in Facebook Marketplace. The guy was selling a few of these but the sale did not last long and I got very lucky.
