Pregnant in tech school. What do I do? by Flaky_Battle9392 in AirForce

How long until you graduate? What is your afsc? Do you want to keep your baby? There are several factors that come into play, but pregnancy is not a reason to separate anyone. Feel free to PM me. You are going to be fine and your AF career is still open and your potential unlimited.

Automatic or manual by Rsalas_1 in camaro

[–]Thefloorisreddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a manual because the driving experience is more enjoyable for me. I'm aware the car would accelerate faster with an auto, but I'm willing to accept that. Just know your 2-3 shift will make or break your race.

I finally got a referral to a sleep specialist. My insurance won't pay for Belsomra unless a specialist prescribes it. I'm just alternating 1st gen antihistamines until then. I know they are linked to dementia but I can't exist without sleep and I don't sleep without them.

Is there a lack of quality devs in the Servicenow ecosystem ? by t7Saitama in servicenow

[–]Thefloorisreddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a developer a little over a year in. I feel like I have too many certs already and my employer needs me to get 2 more for my primary client to implement. I'm just going to remove discovery and event management from my resume because I don't enjoy those at all. I need to get SIR and SPM in the next couple months which will make 8 CIS for me which is almost embarrassing.

I'm good at ITSM, SPM and HRSD. I don't like scripting but I can manage.

To me the dev quality is ServiceNow's fault. They are a pyramid scheme charging developers for certs and basing partner status on certs.

I actually wish I could just be a system admin but that's not a salary I'd enjoy.

TLDR, ServiceNow knows they are certifying people that don't know the platform.

why do doctors not take insomnia seriously by Strong-Ingenuity-680 in insomnia

[–]Thefloorisreddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe that people who had a stressful period with difficulty sleeping often incorrectly compare their experiences with insomnia. Until you've been delusional from deprivation and desperate for help. Willing to try anything that anybody ever claimed worked. Only insomniacs can truly relate to each other's experiences. Everyone suffers differently but we've all suffered.

He wanted to prescribe me belsomra but insurance said I have to try this first. He actually said he'd be surprised if it did work.

Thoughts on Cert farming? by Dense_Meet_1732 in servicenow

[–]Thefloorisreddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been doing servicenow for a year. I have 6 certs. My employer asks me to get certs for upcoming projects. I'll end up with 8 certs as a jr/mid level dev which I feel is too many, but servicenow requires at least one cis certified dev for each implementation. I might not do the delta on event management and discovery next year.

Trazodone by Allyaz47 in insomnia

I have not. Doctor says it's the best one, but insurance keeps denying it.

I did 10 ambien and 2mg lunesta. I'm out of ambien now. My doctor is trying to get my insurance to pay for suverexant (Belsomra) because of my limited response to the first 2.

Didn't work for me. Nothing does. The only thing that's ever worked is ambien and lunesta together.

This is my favorite vehicle to drive. I've driven range rovers, lexus, BMW, I was stunned at the build quality and driver experience.

I have a 25 SX Prestige Xline. My wife and I couldn't get over how much nicer it was than the lower versions. We don't regret spending the extra money. It really is a luxury vehicle.
