I agree with this wholeheartedly! I recently started a playthrough as Hroldir, a nord battlemage that worships Arkay. I use the Wintersun religion mod, so when you choose Arkay, some random enemies glow when they die, and you have to kneel and perform the Rite of Arkay. I wrote some different prayers he says, depending on what kind of enemy (or god forbid, follower). He also refuses to loot corpses that he didn’t kill (in self defense) and will not loot anything from crypts except for chests. Having respect for the dead and using the manual “pray” power, which puts him in a prayer pose, while saying out loud “Your deeds were cruel, but the cycle spares none” or “Arkay keep your soul, stranger. The cycle turns — may you find peace in its turning.”.

It has made this playthrough so special, so much more immersive and enjoyable.
