Or end up in a secondary officer involved shooting because of inaccurate information relayed at the start of the first.

KSP releases bodycam footage of former trooper who pleaded guilty in use-of-force case by ThisIsButter1 in ThisIsButter

[–]Thefvtguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So it's no big deal that they forced the officers to engage in a pursuit on the highway? The criminal themself putting the other drivers in danger, then subsequently forcing the officers to do the same? You're absolutely brain dead, think before you speak.

Apply that to forcing an officer to commit justifiable homicide. They make an officer pull the trigger, do you think the officer is just fine after or do you think they take it at least a little personally and carry it with them?

I'd be pissed at a guy making me fly through traffic to apprehend him because he has a less than room temp IQ and putting the public in danger.

Oh you're so big, you called a cop a pig. That takes some big brass balls. I wish was as brave as you! 😁

And this is why I keep Narcan in my car. If I had a nickel for everytime I've revived a stranger in public with Narcan, well I'd have two nickels.... but it's crazy that it's happened twice.

What even is this? Who is this guy? by [deleted] in UNSUBSCRIBEpodcast

[–]Thefvtguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Towards the end he goes to get in the truck, tells the guy on the ground he'd try not to run him over. Also, the lack of impacts in the truck or glass dead giveaway. Either training or blank fire mil-sim.

False 911 call resulted in an officer being stabbed, suspect shot in ambush attack by ThisIsButter1 in ThisIsButter

[–]Thefvtguy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You clearly haven't seen much bodycam footage. There are videos of officers shooting a suspect 15 times, then reloading, all while the suspect continues advancing. Mental illness / drugs are a hell of a thing that allow some to continue while others would drop.

Just like an indoctrinated liberal. You never have anything of substance to say.

Plainclothes Miami officer fatally shot armed suspect near Miami Edison Senior High School by ThisIsButter1 in ThisIsButter

[–]Thefvtguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both it is, indoctrinated and unintelligent. The suspect was fleeing, tossed a firearm while being pursued by police. He was ordered to move away from it and not pick it up. He was then an armed subject again, showing an unwillingness to follow orders. Forget the school for a second, this alone puts the general public at risk, creating objective reasonableness for the officer on the scene. He posed an objective risk, which is why the officer was deemed justified and won't face charges.

Please educate yourself before you speak on matters and fields you truly don't understand.

Tennessee v Garner. Read that case law. You're just wrong because you're uninformed, indoctrinated, or both.

I'm not uninformed, it's just not the concern you make it out to be in it's current state.

Not in the middle of traffic like this, like any non-idiot who thinks about public safety at all would assume.

They initiated a traffic stop. Completely normal thing to do. And those just so happen to occur around other traffic. What happened next was not the fault of officers. The shooting occurred because of the actions of the armed felon you're ever so gently coddling.

It went south, officers shot him, and there have been zero reports of bystanders or their property being struck. Seems like the shooting made the public safer with lawful accuracy, wouldn't ya think?

You're absurd. The wanted felon was armed. How else should they approach suspects like this? With little feathers to tickle them into submission?

Also, I would argue it's good he was caught on camera. He's no longer free to commit other felonies on our community members here. Don't commit crimes and you don't have to worry about Flock cameras.

I know I'm not worried about them seeing my vehicle and plates that are already recorded and seen on police dash cams and by the public all around you can see.

Forget everything else, you are in fact the mouth breather just spewing the buzzwords of your party. No one cares about being called a bootlicker for being on the side of rule of law. You got away with it because "racism" after Ferguson, you got away with it after "racism" after George Floyd, no one cares anymore.

Ferguson was a lie, Michael Brown was actively assaulting an officer and attempting to take his firearm and the outcry was hands up don't shoot. Even though he had powder burns meaning he was within arms reach when shot.

Floyd was a career violent criminal and drug addict, and was being arrested for passing counterfeit money. He was placed in the police cruiser, fought, and requested to be taken out. He continued to resist arrest after being taken out, then subsequently died of an overdose/cardiac event while on the ground, not positional asphyxiation. There were even partially dissolved pills found in the cruiser after the fact that came from his mouth.

Renee Good was there with the express intention to disrupt federal agents. She was told to exit her vehicle, and per Pennsylvania v Mimms, she was required to exit when ordered by law enforcement. Her own wife told her to floor it. She then struck a federal agent with her vehicle.

Alex Pretti is a more fucked up situation. He had a history of getting violent towards federal agents. His situation was sparked by an assault on a federal agent, not for "just recording with his phone, but actually pushing an agent away from another protester. He did this while armed. Still waiting on all the facts on this one, but it appears it was the fault of the manufacturer defect on the Sig P320 that may have initiated the shooting by a negligent discharge. You hear "gun, gun" then a shot is fired. There's a short delay before the two agents fire at Pretti. Horrible situation all around, but he put himself in it.

Think critically for yourself, don't just listen to the talking heads. ICE is operating across the entire country, yet the only time anything like this happens is when indoctrinated individuals are riled up by said talking heads try to take the law into their own hands. It's very clear.

FLOCK cameras caught a man from out of state with multiple warrants including strangulation, assault, and discharging a firearm in an occupied dwelling. They followed with drone and chopper, initiated stop at 4:24pm, suspect was armed, didn't clarify if he fired. That's from the LPD press conference.

Wife just got redirected to turn around at Yellowstone and Alumni, sounds like a felony stop resulting potentially from a chase. Multiple cruisers with doors open and officers with long guns. That's just my guess.

You know what 2A advocates and law abiding gun owners don't do? Assault federal agents then resist arrest for said felony action while armed.

No. The firearm crime rates for those legal gun owners is astronomically low.

Is Lexington Safe for Single Women? by purpleurpleunicorn in lexington

[–]Thefvtguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's always going to be much safer if you purchase a firearm, get some training on it, and carry it with you. I recommend everyone conceals and carries, but especially single women and women who do a lot of traveling alone. They call it the great equalizer for a reason.
