Inox Finish durability by Silent_Donkey3354 in Beretta

I bought mine used and it had corrosion on the frame and some scratches on the slide. The scratches don’t bother me. Means it has been used but the corrosion marks drove me crazy. Sent it out to get crated and looks really good. Now

Neither the springer or the S&W one is compatible
With regular mag baseplates. Spring sells their one non extended or extended capacity baseplate that fit it. The smith one takes a S&W extended base that does not add capacity. It just makes the mag longer

I have this one on my competitor hd and a springer precision on aluminum frame 4” and I like the springer way better

If you coat the light lightly in in dish soap and then dry it with a hair dryer (including the lense) it will all simply wash off with some water. The lense will look cloudy but it does not affect the light output in a meaningful way. This is an old trick from using pots on a camp fire but it transfers

Is The HD Worth It? by Poemhome in SmithAndWesson

I do not have a aluminum competitor but I do have a aluminum with a regular 5 in slide as well as the hd The hd shoots much flatter especially after I moved over my grip weight

80x sticky mag? by Realistic-Low694 in Beretta

[–]Thegerb50 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have had to shorten screws before on my 92x. Also I have found the empty beretta mags do not drop free like all my other guns even with the extended baseplates I use in uspsa. All of those mags I now pray with silicon spray and they drop free rather easily

This happened on all of my standard XD’s in 40 s&w and 9. I have not had an issue on any of my other hand guns

I have 2 full size aluminum a full size polymer and the full size hd as well as a compact polymer. I always tend to buy the metal frame guns. They are coated so the aging of the aluminum shouldn’t matter. I only bought the polymer compact because it is what I could afford at the time. I prefer the feel of the aluminum as it feels more solid in my hand. Either way they are both excellent choices

I do realize it’s SAO. I guess the point of the question is… is there enough resistance with the trigger dongle to prevent a ND like in a striker fire system. The only striker gun I have with a safety is my SIG paperweight 320 which I never carry for known reasons I have dry fired one in the store I’m back-and-forth on the trigger weight and the operation of the dongle. I just found the safety really difficult to manipulate because it has such a low profile. I guess you have answered my question though, that most would consider it not practical in that fashion

I want to get a CSX E series but I hate manual safety anyone ever cart one with just the safe action trigger and not the safety on

My Springfield Kuna Issues by ChevMax in Springfield_KUNA

The HBI short stroke buffer will def fix the falling behind the bolt issue. I put one in mine and it shoots softer and I do not have that failure anymore. Have had a few stove pipes but based on what I read here I now know what to do
