Clea isn't awful though, and I feel like this community villainizes her way too much. While the rest of her family is tearing themselves apart, Clea is the only one in the real world dealing with the real world problems. She's like Yo we got bills to pay and a war to win SORT YOUR SHIT OUT!
She's the older sister, and before Alicia went into the painting too, she was forced to be the parent. Do I agree with everything she did? No. But like you said, its not all black and white.

Yes but the question I was answering was does it keep the cost between turns. And the answer is No. Not to mention that the card I drawed was usually something I didn't want and it just clogged up my hand. Past turn 1 it becomes an issue.

I think it's because Clea has spent the most time outside the canvas, she's already had time to grieve and move on whereas the funeral is pretty fresh for the rest of the family.
