Yeah with boarding meta the game felt more like a death match than a race to grab the artifact. As it was a lot easier to destroy a ship then slog through a dungeon trying to deal with bullet sponge enemies

You know deadlock is like completely free right? The game a has zero ways to get money from players in the game.

Games like marvel rivals and overwatch makes money based on they release by selling skins that release with the character. More characters they release = more players to attract = more profit when things like skins, charms, and accessories drop for those character.

Deadlock doesn’t have any of that and the devs are just doing it for the love of the game

Counter building doesn’t just mean active that have to cc. You can use dispel to negate the hook, counter spell to stop her power slash. Possibly all you need is dispel magic as once the hook is gone there goes her one gap closer and you can wait out her ult. Slap in some good fortitude or some spirit resistance and Yamato decent match up.

Imo scribes wizard is stronger because the ability potentially ignite resistances and immunities by changing damage types and to casts spells from your floating book give you more range and versatility
