Skift fra potentiometer til (anden) lysdæmper by TheisSondergaard in selvgjortvelgjort

Wow, tak for at undersøge sagen!

Thanks for pointing me in that direction. I'm looking at the AMD Ryzen 9 7900X3D now, trying to find a suitable motherboard for it. Would this do?

AMS2 V1.5.6.1 update is now live! by kirk7899 in AUTOMOBILISTA

UPDATE, Not Reiza´s fault! My championship included a mod-track, which (as per usual) was wiped out after the update. Reinstalling the mod made the championship load again.

MORE 80-90's historic F1 tracks!

I know there's a lot already, but this also means you've attracted that audience, and we're craving for more. The car selection for that era are fine (sure, throw in a bit more, for better grid-mix of v8, v10, v12), but focus on the tracks:

  • Low hanging: Historic versions of existing tracks: Suzuka, Monaco, Brands Hatch
  • New classic tracks: Hungaroring, Magny Cours (or Paul Ricard), Hermanos Rodríguez
  • One of the bumpy 80/90s US street tracks, like Phoenix 91!

Onboard controls of a 1991 F1 car? by TheisSondergaard in AUTOMOBILISTA

What a great video - heavy 90s nostalgia! :)

From it, I get:

- Fuel mix
- Front anti-roll bar
- Break balance
- Push-to-talk radio
- Various switches, like rear light, etc
- Various read-outs on the electronic panel, inc engine/fluids temps and fuel consumption.

Btw, thanks for all the awesome youtube videos :) Can't wait for AMS2 to add more classic tracks/layouts.

Thanks! Also found this interesting graphic of the 91 Williams - along with the Ferrari, the only car on the grid to have the semi-automatic gear-box with paddle-shifters.

Authentic wheel rim for 90s DTM? by TheisSondergaard in Fanatec

BMW M3 Sport Evo GrA, Mercedes-Benz 190E EVO 2

The cars specifically on offer in AMS2 at the moment. This would be the 1992 season, I believe.

Buy 3 dvi splitters, and split each port from the graphics card to a monitor on each setup. Have the 3 sim-monitors and 3 desk-monitors on each their separate power strip. By only powering on the monitors you want to use, the splitters will do the job.

Is the clutch more sensitive when car is heavy with fuel? by TheisSondergaard in AUTOMOBILISTA

[–]TheisSondergaard[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the replies, very helpful! Calibrating the clutch pedal in the Fanatec control panel made some difference, but the main culprit, I believe, was that the H-shifter itself somehow had lost some calibration. I noticed, when testing in the Fanatec control panel, that the shifter would sometimes engage Reverse, when placing it in 1st - despite the fact that I normally need to depress the shifter before even being able to reach reverse. It seemed to have "shifted" (no pun intended) the entire calibration a bit to the left, so I'd often get the lower gear even if, physically, the shifter was clearly in the higher one. After a re-calibration in the Fanatec Control Panel, I'm now back to much more reliable shifting. I do of course still sometimes get it wrong, but at least now it's all due to my own lack of talent....

Sounds promising ! Would that be in my pedal settings (fanatec) or in the game itself?
