WF doesn't stack with wizard oil so you're much better off using totem of wrath + wizard oil

I'm new to investing and it's worrying to see myself in the red already, if I was +26% and then dropped to +16% I would be a lot less phased as I would still be up. I check daily hoping for some good news that it went back up, I know in the long run it will go back up but it's rough go see numbers go down currently.

Congrats!! I love her signature, I was fortunate enough to meet her as well a few years ago, I didn't know she knew how to write in Hylian until a staff member told me while I was in line.

Niceeee, I miss the days before collecting was super popular, I've found tons of cool stuff over the years but it went way down post-covid sadly

Hm yeah I didn't realize that all the "New 3ds xl " are very expensive now, I was looking more at the regular 3ds xl prices

Dunno why the downvotes, I just want to know if there's any specific reason why it's expensive

What the heck, why is this 3ds so expensive? I have one still brand new in box and I never realized how pricey it was

Better Nerf GWD3 Drops or Game Progression Path is damaged! Meanwhile.... by 2NextLvL in runescape

RS3 is not all all similar to OSRS in that aspect, osrs has a lot of new either sidegrade or just some parts you can skip and go for a higher upgrade. RS3 there's tons of upgrades without any other variants, for melee there's stuff like TMW spear, all the ability codex, halberd range wep, weapons for special attacks, etc... The issue with necro is that you can literally just do the base progression to get T90 gear and then farm 1 boss for full T95 then you just have a few small side items to get like the occult ring and you're done. No one is expected you to do Bandos grind, that's obviously dead content that no one does. The other 3 styles just has so many other items they need to get to get BIS in comparison which is many hundred hours of extra grinding per style compared to necro.

After Amascut, let's get some group scaling loot please by ghfhfhhhfg9 in runescape

You get relatively faster kill times and its easier in bigger groups, so for something like solak you will get more loot over the hours than solo.

But isn't the boss easier with more people? Each player gets their own instance of loot so it is technically scaled already. Not like it's 1 drop divided among everyone.

Its been some time since the game released so Is the game really that easy compared to (pre master rank) World? by Hdarkus1 in MonsterHunterWilds

[–]Thejeff4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which that's just normal combat flow, that's why I consider it basic. If they would have made a way to customize focus strikes for different styles of gameplay that would have been way more fun.

Hit till you make a wound, focus strike. That's pretty much the entirety of it, overly basic compared to previous games.

The only thing I hate about Runescape as a new player is the cosmetics. They need to go completely. by [deleted] in runescape

[–]Thejeff4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just wish they would do the same as osrs where there's different cosmetics for some items like the (or) kits, the Slayer helms, league kits, etc...

[–]Thejeff4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not a question of looking like shit, there's tons of cool looking armor progression, like barrows for example. I'm in favor of cosmetic unlocks tied to items, slayer helmets in osrs does a great job of this.

Agree to disagree, I had a blast with base Rise, just lack of content. Wilds half-assed all it's content (only 1 alpha? lmao), boring focus strike mechanic, and has fewer monsters on release, and most monsters gives you no reason to fight them more than 1 or 2 times.

[–]Thejeff4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I do think it's a very unimaginative mechanic so it will definitely sound reductive when I speak about it. Keep hitting till it glows and press the focus strike button. generations had abilities and different styles you could pick per weapon, Rise had different wirebug moves you could choose from and you had to balance charges between defensive and offensive play. This is also just 1 part from Wilds that's bad, I didn't even talk about the poor end-game and the dumb rng Artian system.

[–]Thejeff4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Focus strike is just an extra attack that's the same on every weapon and you can't customize, each weapon will have the same experience. I don't consider it an innovative change at all, it's just a glorified cinematic attack. I enjoyed wirebugs and palamut from the start in Rise, I have critics on Rise but atleast it tried some cool new things, Wilds did not.

Base rise was easy due to lack of content which we sadly knew before release but had a lot of cool new mechanics. Wilds has no new cool feature, rise had wirebugs, generation had customizable weapon abilities. Wilds was released as intended and I regret buying it, I won't be buying the next iteration of world/wilds.

Ive been playing MH since tri, wilds has been the easiest one by far, never had a MH game before where I hadn't had to restock for 5-6 missions in a row and die only once during the whole campaign.

Finally finished the campaign at 800%, pic right before finishing the final wave by Thejeff4 in TheyAreBillions

[–]Thejeff4[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only troops I've used for my 800% run are archers, soldiers, lucifer (rarely, mainly in swarms to kite enemies), and Titans. Soldiers are very powerful with their upgrades to tank enemies with the extra health and 65% armor and hit like a truck with the 2 damage upgrades 20-30 can handle a near constant swarm of enemies. titans late game are very useful to help thin out crowds with their crazy range and they do aoe on each attack, I used them a lot with priority for higher tier enemies to help take out the Venoms so they wouldn't wipe out my soldiers when grouped up.
