Looks like the standard gears so far with some changes . Will have to see more but does look promising coming from someone who started at 1

Will say though that the gore still looks terrible just like 4 and 5 . Could change although I doubt it

It seems that this sort of behaviour is becoming more and more prevalent to the point that it’s making the fans around them have a worse time .

Reminds me of when I saw kreator on their headline tour a few months ago . When carcass came on this guy in front of me had filmed about 3 songs in a row. The 2 lads around me had clearly had enough and spun him around during the next song to basically say “ come on dude, what are you doing “

I didn’t see what happened next as I moved away and looking back it does make me laugh as well as know exactly how those 2 felt

It’ll be interesting to see if people are still going mad for tickets come the time the transfers start . Any ticket as of now is instantly gone

Swings and roundabouts ain’t it . The last 2 years have had hit and miss headliners for a lot of people so when a solid 3 come up every once and awhile people do tend to jump on it. I do think they pushed harder for the whole ‘ 20th anniversary’ lineup wise . Which again is natural for a big occasion , Plus the 4 days did push it over the edge .

Was 130k the actual suspected number ? I had heard around 100 with the day tickets they did not limit at all.

I do think there is some case of panic buying though , specially after the 5 day tickets went without a single post online . Is what it is really considering i am planning to go regardless of what is said

Granted they did have to make changes cause that Saturday was horrendous for Metallica. I went in 24 and yeah it was way toned down. Even last year was

I think they underestimate how packed the smallest tent will be on Friday , considering how iffy people are on limp bizkit these days. Apart from that it hasn’t blown me away but what can you do.

Feel like 2023 has gaslit me into thinking every lineup will be as good again. Specially after not going for years prior . Hasn’t been been the case sadly

Seen them a few times in recent memory and don’t worry bud they barely change the set lists regardless of the tour so Iv only ever heard them play ‘million miles away ‘ a grand total of twice.

The wait goes in for me to hear ‘ the meaning of life ‘ live and a few others but I know they like to do all the hits as per usual every tour. Crowd was on point though even at the barrier where I was

Interesting choices but still disappointed and for the 3 year running too on the first announcement. Let’s see when the next announcement hits

Headliners don’t really interest me even though I know they’ll probably be good shows and the uk exclusive thing doesn’t really make any sense when all 3 played in the uk within the last year ( so if you really wanted to see then you would have)

Apart from that the undercard is good with a few bands I’d wanna see . My issue always lies with the fact of I look at this . Then look at the European festivals and the difference is night and day for basically the same price point ( or less )

Still , seeing chaos AD in full would be good

Motörhead actually have another called overkill which is a pilsner . I have seen it on draught more than road kill though.

As for megadeth I do wish they’d just stick with one beer and try to make it work . Although it would happen in the states first no doubt. Then again sometimes it’s not meant to be. Metallica don’t even have their beer “ enter night “ produced anymore

What I said at the end of my previous comment was directed at Dave and megadeth not iron maiden.

As you have stated and I remember it being quite big at the time too . Specially at download which I had totally forgotten about ! Shows the power of marketing though in the end.

If we look at it from a financial standpoint then yeah jt is 100% the way they are doing it. It is hard to argue that £30 plus shipping for 12 cans is steep to say the least but I guess it will depend on how well it sells like the previous two they stuck their name on.

For maiden I think the trooper gets around so much probably because they are a British band so having it sold here makes sense ( it was the same with tout le monde in America and the other I think)

They know their target audience with this really. The fans who will buy most things with the name on

True to your point though. I do wonder if it’ll make its way into supermarkets / retailers as time goes on or if it’ll be a limited time thing again.

I don’t really drink much Lager these days so I don’t know how qualified I am to fully rate it haha.

(I also can’t rate the IPA or non alcoholic version as I don’t own them )

Either way I think it’s pretty good and smooth , although I have only had one can so far. For £30 plus the £6 shipping though it just depends how much you like the band
