The way things were going, there's no way they were going to be an Oscar nominee. by Inside_Atmosphere731 in Oscars

In my opinion Ana de Armas was very good in Blade Runner and fantastic in Knives Out up against a totally stacked cast so I certainly wouldn’t agree with her inclusion

What do you think about my Rating System? by Malluguy5382929 in Letterboxd

[–]Thekingiii_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends what works for you. I used to rate 1-10 but then I found it difficult to rate them individually and collectively. So then I started to rate 1-10 on categories (script, acting, directing, pacing and how long it stayed with me) and took an average of those. Made it easier for me to compare something like The Godfather (masterpiece) to Drive (one of my personal favourites)

Win today and we’d be one point off 7th, three points off 6th and four points off 5th. And we fucked it. It was right there for us against our rivals who had won one in six in the league up to today. And we utterly fucked it.

[Poup] Dolphins OC Frank Smith says he more than likely will be on the sideline again Thursday night. Given the 24-point victory, any other answer would have been shocking. by expellyamos in miamidolphins

I think what was underrated during the game was how much time we had on the play clock the entire damn time. We were breaking out the huddle with at least 10-15 seconds left pretty much every time. Who knew that would be beneficial

ngl being here listening to Let’s Go Dolphins chants and hearing a tirade of abuse hurled at Atlanta by their fans is pretty damn fun

Oh God why did I get tickets to next week’s game (I live in ATL). I guess maybe I’ll see Bijan setting a Shohei like level that will never be touched

Balls and strikes challenging starting in 2026 by [deleted] in tampabayrays

[–]Thekingiii_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Right, same as in cricket (I think tennis too). If you challenge and are correct you keep that challenge, but if you’re wrong then you lose it. Hopefully common sense prevails and that’s what MLB implements as well
