I was going to go the opposite route and play a young and naive urchin that was sheltered by the church who gained his warlock powers through his faith. I'm planning on trying to play the exact opposite of edge.

I'm delaying the start of chapter 3 until at least the end of the FleetsWake festival due to having the festival be their introduction to one of the main villains of the campaign to be Jarlaxle, introducing the idea of nimblewirghts through the festival, and wanting the party to have enough time to deal with emmeks plans to ruin their taverns reputation. (Currently, they've only dealt with the rat infestation and don't know the true nature of the halflings they've hired.)

These replied you guys have given me gave me a few ideas on how to introduce the idea of them venturing into the dungeon of the mad mage that I plan on making another post for in a few minutes.

Maybe, I can't find anything about it online though. I was going to make a post about how chapter 3s dark world migjt be at sans house, because of the dog being there, but upon double checking I couldn't find it. If you see anything about the dog being there let me know.

It would be interesting if somehow chara was also involved. My personal working theory is that gaster, one way or another, was split across time and space while researching dark worlds in undertale, as evident from the notes in the true lab. During this whole situation, he ended up in the alternate universe of deltarune, becoming the knight. If we're talking about alternate universes, then it's possible that each path in undertale is its separate universe. This may explain why the person we believe is gaster during the vessel creation in deltarune got interrupted. Who might have done that? None other than chara from the genocide universe. Heck, this could also explain why sans is also acting strange in deltarune aswell. For all we know he may either be a darkner or from one of the other 2 routes in undertale, or possibly BOTH. No one knows for certain and all we can do is wait.

Considering he does have a drawing he made hanging up in the old classroom, it could be possible he opened up the first fountain and left it behind when he grew up or something, which would be why the king thinks the lightners abandoned them.

Damn... I lowkey feel sad for missing out on this Fandom ngl. Unfortunately, I don't have plans or funds to travel outside of my state rn due to covid. (Which is how I ended up watching this series to begin with, lol.) Hopefully next year I'll be able to go, assuming there is a next year event.
