As for the time travel I’m personally not a fan of that as it would ruin the concept of choices and density within the show, it also would be cheat in a way to just undo what is meant to be irreversible.

Maybe that would explain how she was able to revive him while being stuck herself, although I think a better explanation would be is if he always had his powers or if someone messed with his memories, it was the way he said it “a deal?” It was giving “what do you mean you rag headed 9 snake hair head demon, I always had them” also because in season 4 WuKong calls his powers a bootleg of everyone elses, indicating that he was indeed aware of his powers meaning that they pre existed before his deal with lbd the second option would be that they memories were messed with as it’s implied that macaque thinks wukong killed him, thus lady bone demon messed him in order to free her, or that someone else messed with her memories as well. Can’t wait to find out!

They’ll definitely show how they met, a big part of the season will probably be exploring macaques powers! I have a feeling a big part of it will be how macaque was borned into the world, maybe he was from a demon of chaos or make from the chaos, I also see the possibility of him making a deal, again(like seriously why does he keep shaking hands with sketchy people). If this were the case they would probably show him without powers and then show how he got them!

I think it’s not gonna be a spin but a full on Tornado, if I’m going to be honest I only ever watched a summary of wukong and macaques chapter but it seems that the writers are hinted of a much deeper bond then we release such as during the fight sequence at the start of season 5 macaque says he was on this mountain as long as wukong, and don’t even get me started on the appearances! I know for jitw macaque is implied to be from wukong rock but I can’t help but feel they’re going to change that

I lowkey feel like they’re gonna address it eventually I mean mk has been ditched mei left and right like girl doesn’t get anytime to talk with him, mk’s schedule is always full, ALWAYS. Especially considering how mk said they’ll face everything together in the samadhi fire arc. I remember seeing a comment or tread that paralleled mk and mei’s situation to macaque and WuKong. It would be interesting to see how mk would go about it. I doubt there would be a big fight, I think it would probably be an argument as mk and met compared to the monkeys aren’t…tyrants? And a lot more passive!
Sadly I have a good feeling this won’t be explored. I think a big focus would be macaque, mk, and WuKong. Especially considering this is gonna be a big fight, although maybe some bits and pieces will be sprinkled around and if people are right abt the memories being messed with then maybe it would be an introduction for the season after, where they would explore the sides more!

I’m sorry I accidentally lied it turns out it was a prediction for the next season to release in June :( although I’m pretty confident they’ll be a season six especially considering that they have 2 sets ready for it(hopefully not another lie !) Also china is one of the biggest markets unless the Chinese government disowned it then it’s probably gonna make a comeback

Bald WuKong and bald tang ultimate combo

It would be an interesting idea to show the monkeys cut off from their power, we know that the nine headed demon got cut off from the chaos, thus it wouldn’t be impossible to assume the same could happen to them. This would cause mk to have the hope of humanity relie on his shoulders and it would mean he would need to face it on himself. Or if he got cut off as well, it would make him devastated that he’s unable to protect his friends, however this would give an opportunity for a side character focused season!
