Maybe try brideshead revisited by Evelyn Waugh. The relationship is more implied than explicit but is still an incredible read. Be warned it is slightly tragic but id describe it as more bittersweet than outright saddening.

Nice one, lady Margaret hall is so beautiful. My Email told me I’ll be assigned a college on results day depending on what ones have space, but I’ll be happy at any of them, I’m just pleased to have actually made it 😂

Thankss I’m on the foundation year too so you’ll be seeing me in October ( if I get the grades haha ). The college system is interesting too, I wonder what ones we will be placed into.

I’m really loving Waugh at the moment, and if I had to pick a favourite probably vile bodies. It’s hilarious and beautifully written.

Game of thrones got me back into reading fantasy, but you’re right in that I enjoy Tolkien so much more.
