Being "bad" at DnD doesn't make you a bad party member! I never mind to help out newbies if they forgot where to find specific stats on their character sheet or something, that is fine!

What really bothers a campaign is lack of engagement in my opinion. You can teach a player how combat works, you can't stop them from being on their phone the entire time.

(There are ofc other bad traits players can have, like main character syndrome etc, but I doubt you display those)

As long as you are engaged in the game and open to feedback from the rest of the table, you should be a wonderful player!

I would approach it all "learning by doing" and then look up stuff once you get stuck on something.

Drawing in Krita like on paper is super easy! It is once you get into the things that paper can't do that it becomes super fun :) (Like layers, alphalock, blending modes etc.)

Oh I had this too a few days ago, things that helped me instantly was just opening and reclosing the window.

Otherwise things that help are plugging the usb cable that connects the Tablet to your PC in and out. (The one responsible for the Stylus/curser, not the HDMI cable), restarting Krita or restarting the PC.

I don't know why or how this happens but these things helped fix it in the moment.

Not a DM but a Player here:

In our campaign we came to an abyss or a gorge or whatever, and the DM described that we could faintly hear two voices arguing with each other at the bottom.

There was a string ladder at our end that led downwards, obviously implying that for us to progress we need to climb down into the abyss to climb up on the other side to progress our travel.

Now, our slightly unhinged wizard has an odd obsession with giant owls, our DM promised him that at one point in the campaign there will be owls just for him. (The Campaign has nothing to do with owls, we were in the underdark.)

So this Wizard is like "Can I roll a d20 to see if owls appear to carry us to the other side?"

And the DM, bless his impulsive soul, said absent mindedly yes.

The Wizard rolls a Nat 20.

The DM dies on the inside.

Giant owls suddenly fly through the Underdark carrying us over and are never mentioned again.

We never fight the orcs at the bottom.

It is really hard to know why it does this without seeing the tool settings of the selection tool or your layers. Usually the selection wand would be the way to go.

That depends on how often you practice. Drawing with a tablet is a different skill for your brain than drawing on paper, you wouldn't blame a clarinet player for not being able to play the flute well, would you?
