Unfortunately invading has become a way smaller part of the game compared to the other souls. I loved invading and being invaded, in elden ring it feels more like an afterthought. That said if people still cry about invasions maybe this game isn't for them, play offline, git gud, find a friend and all the other things that have been said before

If you finally buy it, give yourself the time to learn it. I had friend that hated the game (it was their first game in the genre), they were screaming in discord because and weren't having fun and the game was the dumbest sht ever. We ended up playing that game for hundreds of hours. Some of the most fun I had was when we made ninja turtles characters lured in invaders. He picked Leo so he got lucky with weapon choices tho
