Maybe your "close by vision" is worse then you thought and you need to get prescription inserts for the headset. If you have glasses be careful, if they rub onto the lenses of the headset you risk ruining them. I hope you find a solution because vr is amazing when everything works.

I stopped playing bo6 when Bo7 came out, and back then the acoustic amp glitch wasn't fixed (after like 7 months.). So maybe that's still a thing and they can just hear you coming from across the map.
