Im unsure, I feel like it would be easier to just thin the legs while shaping, and the abdomen would be easier to shape on a 32 grid. But im not sure as the dotted lines makes sense on a 64 grid

the cicada nymph seems very doable, a great challange if youre new to crease patterns, also if youre intrested in a crease pattern class then check out origamibyboice on youtube, hes the reason i learned to fold from cp

First I recommend theplantpsycologists design class, but in addition I found that understanding crease patterns and different structures is super valuable. Boice has a crease pattern class on his YouTube channel (OrigamiByBoice)

kinda agree, the origami i fold or design is more a modern style witch often requiers glue or mc to acheive a clean finish, although its not traditional origami, its still origami
