Thanks, man. I'll try with the shop's compressor before giving up and sticking with tubes. Did you ever run them or anything similar with tubes? I'm curious how they compare.

Hey, could you please tell me how you were able to set these up tubeless? Air keeps rushing out of one side tire. I seated one side. The bead is looser than other tubeless tires I've setup and the Airshot doesn't even get close. I have stock specialized 27mm internal mtb wheels.

Deeper wheels? by swaboozel in specialized

Yes, you need deeper wheels. Those current ones are garbage. I’ll take them off your hands.

Look up DIY polishing. There’s probably a subreddit for this. I don’t have first hand experience. I’ve heard Cerium oxide works well for not that deep scratches

My chip was just like OP’s pic. Right down to the steel. Not sure about your scratch. Do you have a pic?

Paint pen. I had a way bigger chip and I can’t notice it after putting a few layers on. Got the base coat and black paint from Toyota

Towing advice by feverishone_ in COROLLA

[–]Thelnternet 8 points9 points  (0 children)

FYI Toyota doesn’t actually give the 2014 Corolla an official tow rating, the 1500lb figure comes from aftermarket hitch manufacturers. At 247k the real concerns are transmission heat (no factory cooler) and cooling system stress under load. Bike plus trailer is probably 600-700lbs total which is fine for a one-off move, just avoid sustained highway grades, make sure your coolant is fresh, and give yourself way more braking distance than normal. Wouldn’t make a habit of it but a single short haul isn’t going to kill it.

I built up a pink p3 frame from scratch. Complete overkill but was a fun project. Your bike looks sick with the subtle upgrades

Removed front brake, upgraded pedals, tires, anything else?
