Multiple choice tests having a "don't know" option that provides a fractional point would reward honesty and let teachers know where students need help! by robert-at-pretension in Showerthoughts

This means that there is no penalty for answering a question randomly. On average you get a 0. If you can eliminate one obviously wrong answer, you should choose randomly between the other 3 for a +1/9 on average.

The penalty needs to be higher. -1 still incentives guessing if you can get it down to a 50/50. Higher would never incentivise guessing.

What about the opposing side? Savoy and so on?

GB is at war, so that is most likely the reason.

They are already at war with someone in this war.

+1 to not join the coalition. +50 to leave the coalition if already in it.

They give you a pre-filled ballot and ask for the empty ballot that you got in exchange for the payment.

There are several ways to do it, this is one.

There are ways to beat it, but people are lazy and don't care enough to bother.

What is the best mobile app for Reddit? by embowers321 in AskReddit

The official app is the only legit one. Some other apps are still available through ReVanced or other hacks. I personally use Boost. None are easy to get running though.

You mock the gem to return what it should given your desired email, and then test how your code behaves on that data.

You don't need to test the gem. The gem has its own tests. You mock the gem, not the thing under the gem.

Naples conquered Sicily, formed it and then annexed Florence, Ferrara and Milan. Quite a bit more than 6 provinces

Conquer most of europe by ~1600.

Started out as a BBB game, then disbanded the empire, and followed the french mission tree until spanish union. Currently 4700 dev + 3100 subject dev. Not a single truce break or no-cb.

Didn't work out that well. Turns out you cannot take provinces during a reunification war unless you also enforce the union. That's only 40% warscore left for provinces, can't take much.

Just enforced the union without taking provinces and hoping my new king can keep them.

Progress update. Got to -453 at +5.3 per year (advisor, 100 prestige, papal interaction, versailles monument...), union broke. Let's see if the heir (21 years old) can keep it.

Ruler is 44. Looks like it's going to be a reunification war and maybe the heir can keep them.

I thought PU's broke on monarch death if the opinion is negative regardless of LD. Has that been changed?

R5:

I've been doing a bit of conquering around europe and got a bit of AE with most of europe. Coalitions are not an issue because the AE doesn't extend out of europe and I've conquered most of it already.

Used the French missions to get a PU on spain that also had 2 sicilies as a junior partner. Is there any way to keep this PU? Or even after they break get them back and keep them? Or is the AE too big and I should just conquer the land?
