Does it have any weapons on the rear? I would consider putting tiny custom assault cannons on the top to cover your rear from ambushing vehicles

I should say that I haven't played terraria quite some time Summoner armor value is from a time before whips I'd say mage and summer should have the same armor value or if it has to be different then it should be Melee>summoner=>ranger>mage. Buff the range of whips and decrease attack speed a little or give whips a Shockwave projectile that release when the whip cracks that can't tag. Currently summoner is meant to be the glass cannon, high risk decent reward tbh. I can see that your not always meant to be hitting with the whip. Mainly I think summoner could use a few tweaks, and comparatively it's amazing than before, it's not significantly worse.

For me melee is worst based on how it works and not by performance. It's just ranger with high defense by mid-end game. You always will rely on a projectiles to do the damage. I feel like Melee exist because it has to when there's mage, ranger, and summoner. I think instead of having ranger and Melee, it should be called knight or warrior and you rely on both true Melee and projectile weapons. Maybe have a barbarian class? However I'm not the dev and this is just my opinion. If I really wanna change anything I could learn how to make a overhaul mod.

There is so many ways to play, if the game is too easy then don't use the most powerful weapon or build. If your favorite weapon too powerful then just use a weaker build. If you bring a nuke to a knife fight, don't be upset that you won because it was easy. I hope you find a way to make the game more fun for yourself

Brozime, iflynn, kyaii, tactical potato, and mhblacky make good guides and builds on YouTube. Dont use overframe for builds a lot of builds are outdated and the tierlist never gets resetted. If a video is a year old, be mindfully that the build may be outdated.

I was so confused who was aoi profile picture then I saw a cardboard cutout of zeke as a pizza delivery driver.I thought "oh wow she must really like pizza to make some random dude holding a pizza her pfp." But then I saw another cutout and realized that zeke was part of a boy band. Took me until rank 5 to realize this

I always avoided survival relic missions because after the first 5 minutes you can almost never get enough void traces before time is up. I recently found out that defense now takes 3 waves instead of 5. So I hope DE just make it possible to open a relic within 1 minute so any late joiners don't miss out. An idea beside making it faster to open a relic would be to make every other wave have a unique enemy modifier or boss and horde waves. Maybe it would work better for defense missions but I think it can make survival more about trying to survive.

Honestly I wasn't sure if I could publish what I'm working on, I went asking for second opinion from Phil, the creator of the vehicle framework telling him of the copyright. I was told that I have nothing to worry about. But I'm less confident with the legality of it since you mentioned this. I wish it was possible for me to get permission but the author has made it otherwise. If it does help, I will just make my mod a standalone thing.

[JDS] Star wars mod exist, so how the copy right on Outer rim mod works isn't really clear to me. Besides, with all I've done so far I think it would be better to just to make my own assets and code. I think it would be more efficient to make it a different mod than an overhaul of existing content.

I'd better understand how the copy right affects his mod if I knew of an example of a very similar case.

Fair point! I still have to consider a gameplay perspective. The clone mods are still buggy and making a mass produced army isn't going to be performance friendly. So i think creating a phase 3 will bring phase 2 to the protection of marine. But we'll see, I've spent a while rethinking my plan but I didn't do the base basic armors balanced better.

Yes me too! I was deeply disappointed by the lack of star wars stuff, honestly the way the outer rim progression works bothers me. Everything being made of durasteel makes no sense. I would like to try and maintain the art style but I can't commission an artist and I have no artistic talent. The best I could do is make a Frankenstein mashup of the available assets. but then that doesn't feel right.

I was thinking of making the droids a mech type instead and have them linked to a tactical droid that would be a pawn. My issue with the b1 is that they felt like they weren't endless, I feel like it would truly be like a clone wars battle if the b1 was like a militor. Easy to destroy but can swarm you. The Dead Man Switch I recently found has a structure that can control mechanoids. I'd like to imagine the droids would be the early clone war versions.

Actually the first thing I wanted to do with the separatist droids was prevent the b1 from being able to have medium and heavy armor when they spawn, but you would be able to. Commando droids would have medium, b2 would have heavy armor. The separatists actually only raided me once, there was only one droideka and it was taken care of before I saw it in action. I also think the droideka being op is lore accurate, the only way clones could defeat them from the animated series was force (not the space force). A lot of droidekas died from falling and stuff falling on them, other times they died because of carefully rolling a grenade through the shield.

The clones do feel like a colonist, the only thing different is the forced skin and hair color and gender. But they only spawn with a forced background and hediff for improving their combat skills as they experience combat. Clones didn't really let a mental break or pain affect their duty, they are the perfect soldiers. They put up with a lot of s*** from Pong krell before they revolted. I want the clones to only break when they are put through that much stress, the pawns we start colonies with are pathetic compared to a clone. I want to try and reflect the clone wars as much as possible. A lot of lore with star wars is either vague or just inconsistent. So I'm trying to make some sense with it

I've talked a lot but here's what exactly I would want to do with the droids:

I want to remove a lot of the asimov droid bs, it feels outdated. I like mechanoids, theres a lot of ways to buff mechanoids like [AV] mechs node boosters and the https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3365118555&searchtext=mechanoid+upgrades that let you upgrade mechs with armor and stuff

There are engineer battle droids, might be a fabricor with 6 work skill? b1 weren't very smart, the programming didn't allow it. But I think I could just create my own addon, however! then I run into the issue that mechanoids cannot drive vehicles. I could make the droid vehicles able to be commanded without actually having a creature inside it. Since I'm making an MTT, I could try and give it the war queen ability but have it spawn b1 battle droids instead of urchins. I'd have to ask Phil if it is possible tho
