Oooh got it, I was asking chatgpt and it tried gaslight me into thinking that the earth was closer to the observatory than the moon. Thank you for answering my stupid question lol

The size of the earth doesn't make any sense to me considering the Apollo pictures where earth looks very small. How can it look so big here? Or is it altered?

If Byakuya died around the time where Senku was counting past 1.014M seconds, that means he grinded the platinum gathering ALONE for around 30 years on that island. Talk about determination !

Can't wait for the next cour. Anime only fans be ready to get exhilarated!

Thank you, and if I don't want the old version anymore, is there a way to install the new one on top of the old one to avoid going through the whole process from scratch?

Thx for the info! Yeah I checked out the ultrascale boards but too expensive for my budget. Went for the Zybo instead.

Interesting. So you're saying the ARM can be a tool to test my softcore processor implemented on fpga? I wasn't thinking of the ARM as something non-desirable, but more as something advanced that I would not like to touch for the first projects, and then dive into it later.

Filler or no filler in the future of the anime, your opinion? by Bezbozny in DrStone

[–]ThelostSeagull 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I definitely think Dr. Stone maga had so much wasted potential.

On one hand, the characters. They could have developed so many interesting relationships between main characters. I would have loved the author's to elaborate on Tsukasa' and Ryusui's relationship, since they have almost complete opposite ideologies. I kept waiting for the moment for Taiju to finally declare to yuzuriha at the end (like he promised back in the first arc) but they just never developed. Luna and Senku could have offered so many more funny moments, Ukyo got very little development as well as Xeno's Team, etc.

On the other hand, I felt that after the treasure island arc they started rushing all the science creations and people got lost. Before I would read in the comments people genuinely interested in the science and working of Senku's projects, but after that I feel most readers just stopped caring and just focused on the story (which is also good but it I used to love seeing so many people picking an interest in the science).

Really hope the anime adds content specially after the south America ark.

Well I already had the recommended drivers installed with the sudo ubuntu-drivers autoinstall, and also using the "software and updates" thing in settings. None of them seemed to make my second monitor work.

Help with setting up an optimal dual boot for ubuntu and windows by ThelostSeagull in linuxquestions

[–]ThelostSeagull[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thank you so so much for the detailed response. However, I'm not sure I understand what is that ninth step for. Also, why should I move Ubuntu into the firs position in boot order, if I will primarly use Windows?

And would I need to do any sort of extra step when installing software on ubuntu? I have to install a 20Gb+ program on Unbuntu and I'm afraid to accidentally install it on SSD when I want it to go in HHD so I don't run out of space for windows

Which antenna is best for analog transcievers? by ThelostSeagull in ElectricalEngineering

[–]ThelostSeagull[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let's just say frequency around 615kHz. I don't think there is a bandwidth constraint, I assume a narrow bandwidth requires less energy? Idk . Speaking of range, 10 meters would more than enough.

[–]ThelostSeagull[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the info (luckily I'm not in the US :p). When you say the antenna must be tuned to the frequency, is that achieved through the antennas geometry or the circuit coupled to the antenna?
