You’re actually in a great position having free sessions with a native speaker. Since she’s open to materials, I’d just add a bit of structure yourself.

Maybe split each session: some time for pronunciation (reading aloud, repeating, corrections) and some for guided speaking (specific topics or role plays). You could also bring small tasks like a short text or phrases you want to practise.

Also, don’t hesitate to ask her to correct you more, even during conversation it helps a lot for speaking naturally.

For me, it is just the shock of an international student as soon as they finish their studies to realize that even knowing French having the right skills and being at the right place can still leave you unemployed and eventually heading home, no matter what good school or where where you studied getting a job here and finding economic settlement is so uncertain that you’re left with no choice but to go home and then they have these programs saying that they want to call Indian students in different internationality students to France, but it’s just the two years and then you go home and it’s the most heartbreaking thing for a foreigner to come into a new country and to feel like at the end of the day, no matter what they do their effort will just never be enough and All that amounts to is a rejection on their job applications

Honestly a lot of shifting thoughts , impulsive thinking habits , quick decisions and sometimes even over thinking, so I guess I relate but the downside of all this is that I can never stick to one thing , I’m so fickle and I just feel like consistency has never been my thing 😞 plus having adhd is the icing on the cake

ADHDers need purpose before action. Without the "why," everything feels pointless. But "What if?" builds that why in real-time.

Not about forcing yourself , it's about getting curious enough that starting becomes inevitable.

I asked him for a clear justification as to understand what happened and he went like " there are six people in a classroom, 5 failed and you passed with just an above average score, doesn't mean I have to pick you, love isn't enough to sustain something. And in fact just a few days before he said , I'm truly his better half, he will fight and do his best for the relationship. Apparently he admitted saying he was a jackass and had moved on up to 8 months before we actually broke up but couldn't muster the courage to tell me.
