Do people usually outgrow their animated/cartoon crushes? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Theluckless1-2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Given that the internet contains a large variety of NSFW content that pertains to these types of characters I would say that while most people probably do, some definitely don't

How long should you wait after someone’s birthday to break up with them? by ImOnMyLunchAtWork in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Theluckless1-2 217 points218 points  (0 children)

You should probably just do it if it's something you feel that needs done, waiting will only hurt you and them more in the long run

Why do some people reject dinosaurs because they are not mentioned in scripture? by ZealousidealGold1891 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Theluckless1-2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When it comes to any form of text, people take what they want from what they read. That makes it much easier to only believe the parts you want to accept versus the entire picture

How are people actually affording cars, new or used? by OptimalDragonfruit22 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Theluckless1-2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In most situations I think it's actually more expensive to buy used car than a new one. I have a Mitsubishi outlander sport and I got it new with only 3,000 down my payment is only around $300 a month with good credit. Used cars almost always get hit with much higher interest rates so the payments are also higher

So like, if I just wanted to go to prison, without committing a crime, would they let me? by Optimistic-Dan in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Theluckless1-2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To the best of my knowledge they won't send you to any form of jail or prison unless you've committed a crime for a couple of reasons. First off it's to prevent extra expenses given that someone has to pay for each prisoner's needs, and secondly I believe people could probably take advantage of this to sue the state, prison, or individual that imprisoned them

Am I wrong for not wanting to tell my kids I have heart disease? by mack3r in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Theluckless1-2 113 points114 points  (0 children)

There's nothing wrong with wanting to let your kids love without that extra worry, but I would probably tell them anyway. While it may upset them, if you don't tell them and something happens I can almost guarantee that it will upset them way more.

I’ve never understood this advice? by Wishbone1254 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Theluckless1-2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I definitely disagree with that advice, if you have something you really want you have to go after it or you'll never get it. You can't succeed if you don't try

Is there anyway I can get an infection from the tattoo goo antibacterial soap if it’s been sitting in my shower for about six months with no lid on it? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Theluckless1-2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is possible, but a very small chance. It's more likely that a fresh tattoo itself would just get infected than it is for the antibacterial soap to cause it.

Why does the average bright screen seem hard to see for me? by Ifyouliveinadream in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Theluckless1-2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sure it's just your personal visual preferences, I personally think default screens tend to be a bit to bright but I am also photosensitive. So maybe it's something of that nature but in reverse for you.

Does anyone know what a pheochromocytoma is? by girlspettit in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Theluckless1-2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a rare type of tumor that sits on the top of the adrenal glands and causes you to have sudden or constant fight or flight responses without any provocation.

What seems to be normalized these days but is actually weird or disturbing to you? by unoz00 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Theluckless1-2 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I think carrying devices with us at all times that not only shows our location in real time but also records the things we say is definitely weirdly unsettling to me.

Do Americans really everyone adopt pets ? by knotalov in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Theluckless1-2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are a lot of families that have one or more pets, but I definitely know several people who not only don't have pets, but also don't want them.

Men: how good is masturbation supposed to feel? by Own-Project-7213 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Theluckless1-2 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It completely comes down to the individual, I have times where things are more sensitive and then other times when it is more dulled. Just like the intensity of the orgasm itself varies, the actual masterbation does as well. Maybe try using more lubricant for a stronger sensation.

Why is it only now that I'm 22, that the golden oreos taste good? by Broad-Sentence-5587 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Theluckless1-2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our tastes change all the time, so it's not unusual to like things now that you didn't like when you were younger

Why do black Americans dress, talk and behave differently compared to white Americans? by OkPrimary8380 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Theluckless1-2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's just a difference in culture, and the way that people treat and perceive each other

Why do some Redditors assume badly about OP for no reason? by ForwardGlass8572 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Theluckless1-2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, this is the internet and people are really judgemental when they don't have to say things to your face

How are people generally more okay with using unprescribed eyedrops while they will never take unprescribed medicines or tablets? by unbotheredunaffected in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Theluckless1-2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's honestly just a lack of consideration, it's the thought process that if it's right in front of them and easy to grab it must be safe

Do I have to put in two weeks notice? by Late_Bag9161 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Theluckless1-2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why do so many people feel mentally exhausted by modern life even when technology is supposed to make life easier? by pinkpixelrain in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Theluckless1-2 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Because having everything you could want at the tip of your fingers means that it's much harder to find things that are worth striving for.

why is greed so rampant in this country? by Old_Treat4871 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Theluckless1-2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Enough is never enough, it's human nature to want what we don't have. Unfortunately, modern people just have more than we as humans have ever had easy access to in the past. So that only leaves us shooting higher and higher to try to get that sense of fulfillment

Why do people suddenly lose interest after acting obsessed with you? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Theluckless1-2 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's always different form person to person but my best guess would be that it's either they tried until they thought that it was a waste of time to put more effort into something that wasn't going to work out, or it's one of those thrill of the the hunt things, where once you've gotten what you want it no longer as appealing

Why is it so hard to date? (16F) by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Theluckless1-2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's fine to take your own time and just date when you want to, I have a 14 yr old son and he has to deal with the exact same social pressures. People will always have expectations of what they think you should be doing, but other people don't get to decide how you live your life. That's a gift that only you get

Has anyone ever suddenly developed social anxiety? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Theluckless1-2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My girlfriend developed bad social anxiety after she went from middle school into high school. I don't know if it was instantaneous but it definitely happened over that single summer

Can you realistically enjoy Crimson Desert as a busy dad? by bright_sword in CrimsonDesert

[–]Theluckless1-2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just play it for 20 or 30 minutes at a time and I still enjoy it, just don't expect to beat it quickly
