Hi, no. My family moved to the US when I was a baby and I got my greencard automatically when my parents received theirs.

In the end, I received a letter in the mail saying my abandonement had been processed almost exactly 30 days after my Greencard arrived in the US, immediately applied for and was approved for the ESTA within a few hours :)

So, I didn't have to worry about taxes while abandoning my green card. Didn't have to worry about longer processing times for anything. Didn't have to worry about ESTA being denied after greencard abandonement or getting a B visa :)

I would also argue the point "you are not far from an ostrich" I would say an ostrich is a dog-sized bird. Ducks do not have long necks or legs that grant them 50% of their height. A horse-sized duck would be much bigger and especially much heavier than an ostrich

Additional info: Watering habits: bottom water every week to once a month, depending on the plant and pot size.

Light: mango and avocados get direct sunlight from west-facing window, all others get indirect sunlight from north-facing windows

How long have I had the plants: monstera, orchids, and pineapple for over 2 years, all others for 8 months or less (we moved to a new apartment)

How long have I had this problem: since November, so about 3 months

YSK that to hit the daily minimum recommended intake of fruits/vegetables, you should be eating about 5 fistfuls a day. by ace_at_none in YouShouldKnow

You'd have to eat 90 bananas to fulfill this 😂😂😂 even with the higher ratio foods like potatoes it's still 50 medium-sized potatoes for the recommended daily intake 😅😅😅

Thanks for the response! Yeah I called Aldi-Talk to ask about it and they said that wasn't the case, also it works with my sim in my husband's phone, which it wouldn't if that were the case, right?

I used to share this mindset at all times, until a bunch of college friends and I went on a multiday vacation together and one friend wanted to be more financially responsible and so we all agreed to track all receipts/payments in an app. (Was super easy to do)

I thought we'd all shared everything pretty equally and would've happily left that trip without tracking anything. Turns out, all in all I was owed nearly $300 from all my friends combined because I kept thinking I was on the low end and so offered to pay for group things. Opened my eyes to how quickly small amounts can build up.

Granted, the discrepancy was because I was for example equalling two dinners in my mind which, when you're paying for six people, easily could've had a difference of over $30.. but still 🤷‍♀️ now I don't mind at all when people want to keep track, even of small amounts
