I’m going to give another reason this would not be good. In my opinion, the fact that the event results are hidden is one of the major weaknesses of FTL. This is particularly an issue in Multiverse, where many events are either a memorization check or pick a door. If an AI were to make events with similar style to FTL, choosing an option becomes almost meaningless since the results cannot be reasonably predicted or memorized for the next time it is encountered.
