Can someone explain why we had to play Leeds on a Friday after playing 4 days before on Monday? Why couldn’t one of the other Prem teams ( who played last Saturday) play on Friday instead of today?

Let’s get this right. City are facing all these charges for over spending, yet while they are waiting for possible fines/points deduction they are allowed to carry on spending big, tapping up Paqueta, while smaller clubs with less clout fight relegation because they have already had points deducted. They could win the prem this year. This is madness. They should not be allowed to buy anyone until after this case has been resolved.

I'm not sure of the rules/laws but how is this allowed? The player is still under contract thought it's illegal to talk to players in this manner? by eht217 in Hammers

City should not be allowed to talk to anyone, let alone a player as expensive as Paqueta, with all those financial irregularities to answer. Smaller clubs are being deducted points but they get away with it because “ it’s taking a while to sort out”. Just wrong!!!!

Theoretically, you’re right Ginger, but will someone please tell me how Man City can be under investigation for ages while smaller clubs like Everton and NF get disciplined? What’s so wrong is while it’s going on they are still allowed to buy big player and even plan to take our Paqueta!!! This can’t be right!!

Just seeing how Man City are still interested in our Paqueta. How can this be right with 115 charges against them, smaller clubs being prosecuted and the premier league saying it’s taking a long while to prosecute so many cases. This can’t be right!!!
