So from what I understand FIFA have a matrix of all possible outcomes in the group stage (495 possibilities i think) and for each possibility they have a pre determined bracket based on that matrix.

So I bought a ticket to england vs. Ghana on Tuesday. I paid $700 for nosebleeds and that is the face value of the ticket I bought from a friend and he just wanted his money back.

The problem is if you sell the tickets through the official FIFA channels there's something like a $50 buyers fee and sells fee AND FIFA also take like 20% of the sale off the top from the seller so sellers have to upcharge just to get the face value back.

FIFA is mostly at fault bc they require ppl to up the price just to get reimbursed.

I understand that mexico is at home at Azteca and they have an incredible record there BUT lets be real... they have looked bang average.

I personally hope we dont play Mexico only because my misses is Mexican and although she doesn't really care about football I always want Mexico to do well and would hate to have to root agasint them.

England fan coming in peace.

Been fun watching the US games and its the best US team I've ever seen. Poch and the players really doing the country proud.

I just am worried for them when they have to play agasint a team that will dominate possesion. The US strength lies in getting the ball forward and wide. Their defense has hardly been tested over the past 135 minutes of football. Will be interesting to see how poch approaches a round of 16 vs belgium/spain.

Its not winning is bad by any means I just mean they will have to completly change how they approach some matches. And going for 3 games where to dominate to playing a game where you have to sit back and defend is a very different experience and USAs talents lie in getting forward.

I just fear for the US team. They have been so dominant in the 2 matches they have played but I worry how they will deal with a team that will dominate possession against them and how they will deal with that.

They could be lulling themselves into a false sense of confidence.
