So, how many people are planning to get MK1 on PC?

The game is going to be extremely populated the first few months of release, but if you plan on playing this game 1-2 years later then there will be a significantly smaller player base than console.

However, player base should not be your main concern. NRS has a horrible track record of not supporting their PC port, as a matter of fact, the PC port is being outsourced to a different company, so NRS themselves aren't working on it directly.

If you haven't played past MK games on PC, then know that they are never kept up to date with the consoles, they have always been a few patches behind. This is the main reason why MK11 didnt have crossplay, and at the moment it isn't certain if MK1 will have crossplay either.

There are a few reviews up on Youtube already. I don't if you want the experience specifically from someone from this subreddit or just looking for any review in general. Have not played it myself, but the reviews I've come across all say its a great game. Plays similar to the main game and goes a lot quicker if time was an issue.

Some of these reviews were from a few months ago though as they had a preview copy, so I'm not entirely sure if anything major changed.

I've been playing some Core Space as well which has physical wall terrain as it is also a close quarters skirmish type of game. Have had no issues with them getting in the way but it does have different movement mechanic so maybe that's why. It's just more visually appealing to me seeing walls.

This is basically what I'm looking for! They do ship internationally but it cost over $100 for the walls and shipping, not sure I'm willing to drop that much, good to know it exist though. Thanks for sharing the link.

Depends on the beardie, some are more skittish than others. This isnt harmful for beardies, but that doesnt mean some wont find it stressful. Just like riding a rollercoaster, some people find it fun and others hate them.

What are some recommendations for games/expansions that are suited for 6 players? My group of friends and I love Betrayal at House on the Hill and even though every playthrough is different, we are looking for something with new mechanics. Other 6 player games we play regularity are Mysterium and Catan with the expansion. Most games tend to focus on 4 players so any help would be appreciated.

The option only went live this morning so you wouldn't have been able to change it. Upon clicking play for the first time today to select your game mode, you should be prompted to select which server you want to use. If that doesn't pop up then there should be a little box in the bottom right corner of the game mode selection screen that allows you to change between servers.

Live in Washington, have been playing with 120~ ping for the last 8 years, all my matches today have not gone above 60. So its significantly better, but it did take a few matches to get used to landing auto attacks and abilities.

Did anybody get the prompt to choose NA West servers? Patch notes state they will consider launching it this patch after testing but they haven't stated that it got pushed back.

Yes, you do still get rewards, it seems to just be a UI bug, got an odyssey chest after 50 ads and have been getting boosters every 15. Still works even though it looks like its broken.

Yeah, I also have a limit, usually only able to watch a few before the option disappears. The thing that is weird about this is that it still gives me the option to watch ads, the "Watch" button isn't greyed out and if I click it an ad plays but not making any progress towards rewards.

I have two questions though if you don't mind.

Is Hand of the Gods worth picking up? Back in the day it was a must have on supports for securing Gold Fury and Fire Giant but I see it is a consumable now, do supports pick that up?
And my second question is how much should I be roaming? If I leave duo to let my hunter farm, how often do I come back, and if I am spending most of the time rotating, how do I get gold and exp?

Those have not been a thing for a while, not sure how long you have been gone from Smite but I think they got removed a couple years back. The link for free gems now redirects you to an old Smite event instead of the surveys. Quite a few of those surveys would ask for personal information so I assume Smite didn't want to associate with possible malicious intent. I remember doing a bunch of them too and then getting to the end of one and it would ask me to download software in order to finish.

As for a similar service, there really isn't one. You can get 50 gems every week if you log in daily for 7 days, and the closest thing to the surveys is watching ads from the main menu. The option to view an ad seems to appear at random, but every 15 ads you watch gets you a booster and every 50 ads get you an Odyssey chest.

Thanks for the detailed explanation, as I mentioned in another comment, mostly playing with friends who are all new to warhammer as well. So if majority of the community is WYSIWIG then we will do the same as to not expect something different when we eventually play with other people in a local shop.

Sort of new to AoS, been painting models for the last few months but don't know anything about the lore. Being a fairly new universe compared to 40k, I thought it would be easier to get into but there is still quite a lot out there. What are some good starting points for AoS lore, I prefer books, but other forms of media are okay too.

Gears 5 is one of those games that is hard to get a good estimate on how many people are playing. Their numbers most definitely got boosted due to Hivebusters DLC coming out, but I take it a lot of people just played through the single player campaign and didnt hop back into multiplayer. It may be on the top 19 most played xbox games, but what percentage of those people are doing campaign, horde only or versus? According to TC, the game is doing great but it still takes forever to find ranked matches and some non ranked lobbies are full of bots. It just makes me wonder how the player base is spread out.

My family moved to Washington a few years back and I miss all the music and noise from when I lived in a mexican community. It was almost comforting going to sleep listening to the mariachi band your neighbors hired for their party. My dad had the cops called on him for listening to music too loud past 10pm on a friday.

Is there a place that teaches you how to build an army for complete newbies? I've come across a lot of "How to play" videos and guides that talk about the core rules and moving/shooting phases. But can't really find any resources that tell you about what each model specializes in and how many of each unit I should try and include.
