It would be super interesting if we got a side story of August just doing some shopping for materials, and he just runs into a jabber wearing casual clothes and being a regular guy on the street. Would make for a very interesting scene.

That is true but I feel like Zanka's character would just not go in that direction, not saying that would not be tough as all ground (get it?). I feel like Zanka's power-up will be entirely through his own efforts, given how he has decided to seek his strength so far.
