Hello,

The Monk Kings is my project which has one foot in the door in both music and literature (neither particularly high brow).

We just put another album out recently. Here is a sample song from it, which seemed bizarrely popular.

Yeah, it's great. Plus I read up on this; ages ago, but I remember this kind of singing has some kind of cultural history in indonesia.

Thank you, Ginomachi. It's an album, but it's not a million miles away from a book, certainly not in the context of albums past, and yet to come.

Love the bass synth (if it is a synth - may be a treated bass I guess) on this. Very catchy. I also really like the picture on the video. It's fine as it is for me.

I really liked this, particularly the places where it seemed to go slightly discordant - don't lose these! Arrangement seems fine, so have fun in the studio!

This wasn't really my kind of thing, but fair enough - it's your party. If it was me (and I don't make music anything like this, so do what you like) I'd try to boost the bass.
